1. Acceptance of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Renter", or "Host") and ReadyLabs Technology Solutions, governing your access to and use of the Ready Rent website (readyrent.app), Web Application (web.readyrent.app), and mobile applications available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

By registering an account, listing a property/item, or booking a rental through Ready Rent, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Marketplace Platform Role

Ready Rent operates as an online marketplace aggregator enabling verified third-party listing owners ("Hosts" or "Owners") to showcase rental items (including real estate, vehicles, hostels, electronics, and event equipment) and connect with prospective renters ("Renters").

Unless explicitly specified as a Ready Rent managed property, Ready Rent does not own, control, create, or inspect individual third-party inventory. Ready Rent's responsibilities are limited to maintaining software platform availability, facilitating identity verification, managing viewing schedules, and processing booking transactions via Paystack.

3. User Account Obligations & Account Termination

• Accuracy: Users must register with valid, verifiable contact details (Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address).
• Prohibited Conduct: Fraudulent listings, identity impersonation, false damage claims, or off-platform payment evasion are strictly prohibited and result in immediate ban.
• Right to Delete Account: Users may terminate their account at any time directly in app settings (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing readytechnologysolutions@gmail.com.

4. Booking Payments & Security Deposit Terms

All financial transactions (rental fees, platform service charges, refundable security deposits) are processed securely through Paystack payment gateways using Mobile Money or Debit/Credit Cards.

• Security Deposits: Required for select vehicle rentals or high-value items. Deposits are held securely and refunded to the Renter upon return verification without unreported damage.
• Host Payouts: Payouts to verified listing owners are disbursed to their designated Mobile Money or Bank account following booking confirmation.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation terms depend on the specific listing category and timing relative to the rental start date. Booking refunds requested prior to item handover are processed back to the original Mobile Money or Card account according to the applicable listing policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Ghanaian law, Ready Rent shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from rental property usage, vehicle breakdown during usage outside agreed terms, or disputes between Renters and Hosts.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from or relating to the platform shall be settled through friendly negotiation or arbitration in Takoradi, Western Region.
